 Early Childhood Teacher

Location: Indianapolis, IN (46208)
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Compensation: Starting at $20/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Flexible shifts (4 or 8 hours)

Early Growers is a nature-based, whole-child focused preschool rooted in play, exploration, and community. We're seeking passionate, committed Early Childhood Teachers who are excited to co-create a nurturing, enriching space for children ages 3–5. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily activities

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children

  • Monitor and document each child’s growth, behavior, and developmental progress

  • Maintain daily notes and profiles through our classroom management software

  • Communicate consistently and compassionately with parents and caregivers

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive, respectful work culture

  • Participate in meal preparation, serving, and cleanup as part of our whole-food program

 

Conditions of Employment

  • Must pass a background check and eligibility verification

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

    • or equivalent experience and certification

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in childcare required

  • Must be able to commute to 2525 Boulevard Pl, Indianapolis, IN 46208
